peaceloveandFASHION: Wedding outfit Crisis!!!

I am attending a wedding tomorrow! I was so so rushed trying to find an outfit as i started to look for one very late. Too late. I wear midi dresses all the time and my plan was to move away from that and wear a classy dress that's different to what i would normally wear. I have never in my life brought and returned things so much in one week to find a perfect outfit.
My first choice was to wear white. Then i realised that its the middle of October and as i live in England it was most likely going to rain on the day of the wedding. But stupidly i thought of this problem AFTER i ordered my dress. This was the first dress i ordered.

I thought it was a beautiful elegant dress and would look beautiful with gold shoes and a fabulous clutch bag. I also loved the detail of the the open sleeves. BUT when it came the quality was terrible. It was see through and just wasn't a dress that i felt amazing in. This dress is from Miss Guided.

I jumped straight onto my laptop trying to look for a dress. At this point it was Thursday and the wedding is tomorrow so i didn't have long at all!

This was my second choice

I thought this would be the one! It looked glamorous and show stopping but of course when it came it wasn't what i expected at all i brought it from E bay. It was £33 and when it came it did't even look worth ten pounds! So this was another dress that i had to take back. I realised where i was going wrong and it was that in this case internet shopping was not the way to go as i couldn't afford to buy another dress that looked amazing on pictures and looked horrible in real life! I decided to go shopping and actually see the dresses for my self. The first shop i went to was Zara and i found it straight away.

Now this may look very plain but when some beautiful statement jewelry is added with some beautiful shoes; this will look out of this world. Every girl needs a plain black dress like this because it can be dressed down or glammed up to the max! My advise for anyone who is in a rush to find something to wear for an occasion is to go for a plain black dress.
