Every girl needs a black dress!

I am in love with this dress! My best friend brought me this for my birthday and it is deffo my favourite. I'm loving black at the moment too. Black goes with everything and is also very slimming; every girl needs a black dress! The material of the dress is also very stretchy making it very comfortable. I wear this dress in the day to go shopping or at night to parties/meals. To change this dress into either a night or day outfit all that is needed to be done is change the shoes that I wear with it. At night I wear high heels and in the day sandals.

I recommend this dress as it is a versatile garment, comfortable and slimming.

Rita Ora wearing Rihanna-River Island collection

Rihanna has recently brought out a summer collection for River Island. Two items that I love is a see through skirt and top which can either be worn on the beach with a bikini underneath or with a slip underneath to wear out as a day/night time outfit.

I love this look because it can be worn in so many different ways!

1. Night wear- With a black slip underneath the skirt with a pair or black stilettos

2. Beach wear- With a brightly coloured bikini underneath

3.day wear- with a denim jacket, slip and pair of sandals and matching sunglasses.

For holiday this top an skirt will be a huge investment as it can be worn on the beach in the day and night!

 Rita Ora wore the River island skirt with a black crop top and a baseball jersey. She tied in the colour red with her lipstick, baseball jacket and nails perfectly for a pop of colour.

Kickers Makeover! Love or Hate?

Kickers are known as a traditional well known make of shoes that are normally seen worn by school children. But kickers have undergone a makeover! They are still the same traditional shape but with a huge twist!

Lana Del Rey Nails

Lana Del Ray is known for her stiletto shaped nails which are definitely a fashion statement. The stiletto shaped nails are a different alternative to the square shaped nails. Stiletto nails are more rounded and for a more dramatic look can come round to a point.

Stiletto nails can be very out going or very classy depending on what colour or design is put on them. For example a nude colour can look very classy and this stiletto shape and colour has been seen many times on the red carpet.

Stiletto nails can also be very fun with a choice of different colour, patterns and gems put on them!

 

I have found a look that Lana Del Ray had on her nails. She has a classy French manicure with a twist. The shape of the tips is slightly more dramatic and the traditional colour is red instead of white.

I have tried this same look out with the colour white instead.  I chose white as it will go with EVERYTHING I wear. I love this French manicure with a twist as it is classy but different at the same time!

 

 

See through Shoes- Beyonce Inspired

See-through shoes definitely are the pair of heels to own this summer! The first person I saw in these type of shoes is Queen B- Beyoncé. She wore them casually to a basketball game with leopard print trousers and a plain black top. See through heels also known as Perspex styled shoes can be worn casually with a pair of jeans or dressed up with a fabulous dress which makes them very versatile. Beyoncé certainly started a trend and now celebrities such as Rita Ora, Alicia Keys and Victoria Beckham have been seeing rocking these fab shoes.

Rihanna was seen out attending a night club, last night in London, with best friend, the well known model Cara Delevigne. She was out in a casual yet fun, party outfit. She was wearing boyfriend ripped jeans, hologram sandals, bag and crop top. Hologram is the new look for this summer that will be seen more in high street stores. Hologram is a shiny disco typed material which will definitely is eye catching.  Rihanna wore different designers from head to toe and her outfit definitely cost a few thousand pounds.
