Rihanna- The New Face of Balmain

Rihanna has come back again! Making more money again! This girl does not know what a break is; she is constantly on the go with either fashion or her music. Rihanna has gone from River Island which is a high street store to the massive designer Balmain. Rihanna is now the new face of Balmain.
Balmains creative director which is Olivier Rousteing called her an 'icon'. The Caribbeaf super star will be the face of the S/S collection and will appear in magazines from January.

"In front of the camera, she makes you feel like she is the only girl in the world," said Rousteing. "When the woman that inspires you wears your creations, your vision feels complete."

The Pink PVC

I have recently really got into PVC. But when I discovered PINK PVC was available I had to try and buy it straight away!! When I say try I mean that this was a very very quick seller and every time new stock was up it went very quickly. So I had to be quick, very quick.
The first time I laid eyes on this wonderful creation is when I saw a picture of Ciara wearing one teaming it with a pink fluffy jumper. She look incredible. As soon as I saw that image I needed one. It just looks so classy but edgy at the same time. The pink is also an amazing choice of colour for this PVC.

 

So where did I buy it from? I original found the skirt on Topshop for an unreasonable price. I thought it was unreasonable because at the end of the day this is 'through away fashion' and I probably will be wearing completely different things next year. Not pink PVC. So because I thought Topshops price tag was too much I decided to buy it from Missguided for an amazing £19.99. Now if any of you are going to buy this skirt from Missguided PLEASE GO UP A SIZE. This is the best advise as it is skin tight!!! So please take my advice. I am in love with this skirt, it is my favourite piece I have in my wardrobe at the moment; it is also a change from my 'all black theme' I normally go with.

 

BEYONCE- Visual and Digital album

This post is just for me to take a moment for Beyoncé's new VISUAL AND DIGITAL album. I have never got so excited for an album before.

 

Beyoncé realised 14 songs and 17 videos to go along as a visual with it. Every single video is just a piece of art and the fashion within the videos are just phenomenal. Everyone must go out and buy Beyoncé's album (which is only available in digital form). She has collaborated with Drake, Jay-z and Blue Ivy.  Every single video contains a different theme and all go from her Sasha Fierce side to Beyoncé and from fantasy to reality. The way she tied in fashion to create an atmosphere in her videos is incredible.

Her songs this time around are most definitely more edgy and surprisingly from Beyoncé has a few explicit songs. Her videos are also very edgy and contain a sexual theme and lyrics in most of them. But this is Queen B she can do anything and get away with it.

Now back to the fashion side. I have chose a few of my favourite videos...

     SUPER POWER

The outfits in this particular video are all high fashion to the max. Even the balaclava she is wearing is LV. The outfit she is wearing where Kelly and Michele come onto the scene is very unusual and the choice of colours and textures are spot on. She sports this outfit with cat eyes, which are done perfectly. If anyone wants to do cat eye makeup then this is how it is done to perfection. She also wears a lot of heavy rings in this video on every finger which is huge this year. Hair and makeup wise this is my favourite look.

DRUNK IN LOVE FT JAY-Z

 

This is a more natural and neutral video. She is as shown wearing a plain black bikini with a transparent long dress over it. She wore this with short curly hair.

NO ANGEL-

Her main outfit in this video is all white leotard, heeled pointed shoes, coat and hat. This is a simple but striking look as the colour is very plain and simple but certain pieces she is wearing such as the large hooded fur coat completely adds drama to it and takes it to another level. This is perfection.

 



 

HAUNTED

 

She starts of this video in a plain black suit and white shirt with a Dalmatian print fur cape and another black fur cape underneath it. She sports this look with dramatic makeup and 1920s waved short hair to give it a masculine theme. The heavy amount of jewellery on her fingers sets the whole look of. This is my favourite look of them all.

FLAWLESS (BOW DOWN)

The song on its own is a striking women's empowerment song. Her main outfit in this video is a checked shirt and micro shorts. What really sets this outfit of and is most definitely the most expensive piece she is wearing are the Chanel chain ankle boots. I am in love with these boots they are amazing and high fashion.

I am in love with Nelly at the moment and I am even more in love with the fabulously cheap prices!A friend of mine told me about this website and now its one of the first places I look for heels.  A  girl can never ever have too many shoes in my opinion. A shoe for every mood, outfit, weather change and occasion is needed in my opinion. This is why I have soooo many shoes it is unbelievable! I literally have a whole section of my wardrobe dedicated to my shoes only!

The two shoes I have chose to add to my collection from Nelly.com come are the total opposite of each other.
The first pair I came across was a pair of Perspex pointed heels. They came in three colours; red, black and yellow. I decided to go for the yellow ones as they are different to the normal boring black; which I would normally come for.  They no longer have the yellow ones but still have the red and black which are just as nice. These shoes come in at an amazing £9.95 reduced fro £35. What a bargain!!!
Also these shoes are so similar to the Christian Louboutins Perspex shoes! It would of been so rude of me to not get them. What a wonderful buy!

The second pair of shoes I brought was a pair of black gladiator sandal shoes. I have been looking for a pair of these shoes since the start of summer an finally I found them for an great price of £23. They are honestly worth every single penny. I am in love they are just great and also very comfortable. I give Nellys.com 5 stars!

Rita Ora wearing Elle Saab

Rita Ora was recently seen wearing this beautiful pink Spring 2014 dress in Amsterdam. I am in love with this dress. I'm not normally a fan of bright colours like this as I like to stick to black a lot but this dress is amazing and the colour chosen compliments the dress just right.

This is a preview of the Elle Saab spring 2014 collection. It has a delicate lace body with a long rich material with a massive slit to show a little skin; just enough skin. Rita Ora wears this dress and makes it more edgy and diva like. It fits her body just right.

The Elle Saab dress was modelled  on the cat walk with sleek hair, a salmon-hued box clutch, and matching ankle strap pointed toe pumps. Rita Ora dressed this with her trade mark red lipstick curly hair and wore gold barely there gold sandals with it.

HOWEVER I think Rita's makeup kind of didn't go with the dress and the whole vibe at all. Even though red lipstick and curly hair is her trade mark I think that she should of steered away from that and gone for a more sleek look and wore a lot less makeup. More is sometimes less. A 1920's glam waved hair style would look much better on her with minimal natural makeup and nude lipstick.

 

 

 

 

 

All Fur Everything

I have always been into fur. Especial fur coats! Over the years I have collected at least 15 different fur coats. Different lengths, colour and fur lengths. This year I really think this whole fur thing has been taken to a next level within the high streets. Of course I will be taking part and buying fur everything.

 

My favourite colour fur is definitely black and out of all my coats I wear I definitely get complemented more wearing my black fur one. This years must buy is a black fur hat and snood. This is a great as it is fashionable and great for this weather. Fur is the best type of material to keep you warm in the horrible cold weather!                                                                                              

 

Next- £12

This fur snood comes in at a reasonable price of £12 pounds; which I think is a good price. However I'm sure eBay will do cheaper options. Just type into 'fur snood' in the eBay search engine.

As I said fur is going to a different level this year and I have just today brought a black fur midi skirt...

I first saw someone wear this weird creation on tumblr and it looked amazing. So when I came across this on River Island I had to buy it! Even though I am TRYING to save my money for the January sales. But lets face it some things are just too nice to not have and would be very rude of me to not have! I have only ordered the skirt today so I should be receiving it around Wednesday this week. Hopefully it looks great in the flesh.
