Rihanna Pour it up Video

The fashion in Rihanna's new Pour It Up video is just crazy but amazing. I would say it is a Marilyn Monroe, 80's and old school Chanel inspired.However the lack of clothes can be questionable!

Rihanna is just so ghetto! She makes herself different from everyone else and doesn't let bad feed back phase her; i love her for that. The song 'pour it up' is a stripper themed song and talks about strippers throughout the song so the video is also stripper themed. I would say this is not a video for young people to watch and i would be very very surprised if it comes on TV. As usual Rihanna has come out with a conversationalist video...

London Fashion Week Party

Last night me and my friend Eve Huckfield were invited to French Connections in Birmingham to celebrate London Fashion Week and the launch of there new collection ' From sketch to store'.

It was a guest list only party and different people in the fashion industry were also invite.

There was various activities during the night. The main activity was a style challenge; the winner of the competition who was 'most stylish' wins £1,250. We had to choose various outfits, try them on and then model them.  So of course me and Eve worked together very hard running around the store to get as many outfits as possible! French Connections has a range of stylish and classy clothes so the outfits we came up with were very very classy indeed. 

Overall the night was amazing and very unexpected as we only found out less then 24 hours before!

     

Kim Kardashian Styled Floppy Hat

I have been looking for an over-sized floppy hat for a few weeks now! My main problem when finding one was to get one that fits my head as i have a lot of hair! Hats normally come in one size but after looking for a long time I discovered that H&M do this hat in three different sizes; small, middle, and large. Obviously i had to get the large for my big hair!!

I am totally in love with my hat, it goes with everything and looks so classy and sleek especially for this time of year. My hat adds glamour to my outfit and can turn any normal outfit to a fashionable and fabulous outfit.

Zara Skort for an AMAZING price!

My mission in fashion is to show people that looking good doesn't always have to involve spending loads of money. I am the bargain QUEEN! I am all about mixing and matching with expensive and more affordable items. If you can get the same thing for half or less then half of the price then why not!! Its just about finding where to get these things from!

Zara brought out a white skort a few month back and i fell in love and brought it straight away! Recently they have brought out the same skort in a different range of colours as it has been very popular.

  

But i have found the same skirt for £7 pounds on eBay.

I brought it in black and it is amazing value! Its not cheap looking or bad quality either. When people as where i got it from they are always very shocked.

Rihanna for River Island Autemn clothing range

So, Rihanna has brought out a new collection in River Island for Autumn 2013. It is a very casual range and has a lot of camouflage prints incorporated with leather and the usual burgundy colour that comes in every year around this time in the high street.

Im not keen on most of the range as i think that whilst Rihanna was designing she didn't consider that 'normal people' who aren't celebrities cant dress like how she would. Most people don't want to wear leather camo and see through mesh shirts! I think Rihanna has basically designed the collection for herself and based the designs on what she would wear. But lets face it, one of the most famous pop stars in the world doesn't dress the same as an average person of the street.

Overall i think it is very over the top, flamboyant and not considering the type of person who shops in River Island!

BUT one item that i do love from Rihanna's collection are these timberland styled heeled boots with a twist. I just think they are amazing and also come in black!
